Repeatedly watching gameplay footage of Bayonetta 2 especially the Prologue, ive noticed something that might not bother others as much, but Jeanne still uses the same combat mechanics from the first game.

Im not sure if its just because shes using her All 4 Ones or if its just because her only scene that showed her fighting was with the Belief (presumably), all im hoping is that when we’re able to play as her we also get the newer combos as well just for the sake of a “fresh start”.

Idk where I was going with this but I just wanted others to know this little tidbit.

I noticed that all the way back when we first saw the Belief fight, and that she and Bayonetta used their old lines as a placeholder. But yeah I’m sure that it’s just temporary, and that in the full game she’ll have updated AI. And there’s no way she won’t have the same combos as Bayonetta, since she’s available in the 2P mode she’d have to have the same moves, and they wouldn’t change them for her 1P playability either. I think it’s like how the gates of heaven chapter we’ve seen had no music, the versions released so far just aren’t 100% done
